This annual CU Boulder tradition is a one-mile fun run and clothing drive. For more than 16 years, the Herd Leadership Council has hosted this event to benefit local nonprofits. This year's run on Oct. 5 benefits Clothes to Kids of Denver and A Precious Child.

All volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and dinner. Help guide runners, sort through donations and provide other event support. Volunteer shifts for bag check, check-in, clothing donations and race marhsals are from 6 to 10:30 p.m.
