Enjoying Fourth of July in the area? Remember the current fire restriction

If you are enjoying Independence Day in the area, be aware:

On June 12, Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle enacted a fire restriction for western Boulder County. Find out what is prohibited and see a map of the affected areas.
It is illegal to use or possess any type of firework within Boulder city limits or on the city’s open space and mountain parks land. If you see someone using personal fireworks, call 303-441-3333, not 911.
