Stampede event on campus instead of Pearl Street Oct. 31

In celebration of CU Homecoming 2025, the Friday night Stampede parade and pep rally is coming to the CU Boulder campus instead of being held on Pearl Street in downtown Boulder. The festivities are part of Homecoming events that are taking place throughout the week, culminating with the football game against Arizona on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 31, the Stampede parade will leave Farrand Field and travel down 18th Street to Colorado Avenue before ending at Duane Field. This year’s grand marshal is Buffs iconic superfan Peggy Coppom!

The best place to watch the parade will be at the bend where 18th meets Colorado.

After the parade, beginning at 7 p.m., fans can join Peggy, Coach Prime, football players, Chip and CU Spirit for a Homecoming pep rally at Duane Field. The inaugural Homecoming court will also be introduced.

Both the parade and pep rally are free, so come show your CU spirit and support the Buffs before their game on Saturday.
