Each year, Center of the American West awards $500 cash prizes to talented students writing on Western topics. All CU-Boulder degree program students are eligible. Categories are poetry, fiction, memoir, creative non-fiction and academic non-fiction. The deadline is March 22, and we are accepting entries now. If you keep it in mind this semester, you may be able to use a class assignment to write something that will be perfect for the contest.
